Experience Muv-Luv Alternative Combat Through Virtual Reality
posted on by Eric Stimson
Muv-Luv Alternative fans anxious to pilot a TSF against a BETA will get their chance at an upcoming virtual reality event. The combat will unfold through the HTC Vive head-mounted display and uses Unreal Engine 4, the Galleria gaming PC, and Radeon R9 Nano and Radeon R9 390X graphics cards. The game can also be played with the Steam controller, as yet unreleased in Japan.
The event will also include discussions with the Muv-Luv series creators and development team, who expect to share anecdotes from behind the scenes and their thoughts on the future of the industry. It is co-sponsored by the digital commerce firm Degica and will be held from 10 AM to 4 PM on April 3 at Bellesalle Akihabara in Tokyo.
The Muv-Luv series has attracted attention lately thanks to its upcoming localization in English after a Kickstarter raised over $1 million to support it.
