Ultraman's Mom Ends Stint as Fashion Model

Ultraman Taro's mom, Mother of Ultra, has been a fashion model for AMU Plaza Hakata, a shopping center in Fukuoka, since 2014. She's been called "history's biggest model ever" and has become an unlikely hit in Fukuoka. Yet on January 25, she announced that she is resigning from her position.
To give her fans a touching farewell, Mother of Ultra will hold a Valentine's Day event at AMU Plaza Hakata. She will pass out chocolates "with love" as a thank-you gesture. The giveaways will be held at different floors depending on the time of day: the 7th floor at AMU Plaza at noon, the 1st underground floor at nearby AMU EST at 2 PM, and the 3rd to 5th floors back at AMU Plaza at 4 PM. Supplies are limited.
The long yellow coat Mother of Ultra wears above was first seen in February 2014, when she modeled it while leaning against the shopping center. She has also modeled a bikini and a lacy summer dress. Although Mother of Ultra is the centerpiece of the promotional campaign, other Ultraman characters have appeared as well, including Alien Bartan, Dada, and Pigmon.
