Kaden Shōjo Mobile Game is Ending Service in March
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Bancho Works' Kaden Shōjo (lit. Home Appliance Girl) has re-imagined label makers, refrigerators, espresso machines, hair dyers and more as girls since it launched last year. The game featured 100 real life home appliances as cute girls, even crossing over with Madoka Magica.
On Sunday, the game's official Twitter account announced the game would come to end. Service for the mobile game will officially stop on March 31, a little less than a year after launching. Voice actresses Eri Inagawa, Asuka Nishi, Natsumi Haruse, Chinatsu Akasaki, Juri Kimura, and more voiced different characters in the game.
This free-to-play mobile game was set in the distant future of 20XX where a mysterious portal has released colorful chips that attached themselves to daily appliances and brought them to life. The purpose of the game was to match same-colored chips and create combinations that will ward off the evil factory manager and disposable appliances. Additionally, certain combinations can upgrade the appliance girls, making them energy efficient.
