Mark Kermode Rates Kaguya Among 2015's Top 10 Films

Mark Kermonde, one of the best-known film reviewers in Britain, has included The Tale of the Princess Kaguya in his list of the Top Ten films of 2015. In his previous review of the film (for the Observer newspaper), Kermode wrote, "This richly evocative vision seems as timeless as the tale that inspired it – a parable of the emptiness of earthly possessions and the transcendent power of love."

Kermode's list includes two other animated films, Pixar's Inside Out (which was Kermode's favourite film of the year) and Tomm Moore's Irish animation Song of the Sea.
