In celebration of the new Lupin the Third TV series, a new set of Lupin the Third figures will be appearing as prizes in Japanese arcades.
First is the Master Stars Piece series, which will include Lupin and Jigen. Both figures are about 26 centimeters (10 inches) tall. Lupin is in arcades now, while Jigen is expected to appear in late December.
Then there's the Creator×Creator series, so-named because it's a collaboration between two different kinds of creator, a sculptor (Hisatake Kiyama) and photographer (Tōki Takekoshi). Kiyama explains that he "sculpted the kind of figure he would want to sculpt and the kind of figure a photographer would want to photograph." Lupin will be available in late November, with Fujiko to appear in early December. The figures are 14 centimeters (5½ inches) tall.
If Lupin's pose strikes you as odd, that's because Fujiko is designed to fit in his lap.
The figures also come in two different colors.
