Video Shows Off Digimon Adventure tri Complete Digivice Model Features

Bandai began streaming a commercial for its Digimon Adventure tri. Complete Selection Animation Digivice on Friday. The video shows the toy's many sound effects and special features including voice recordings from eight of the show's cast members.
Features include a die-cast antennae, inking, a clear pearl body, LED lights that flash in four colors, and an LED-lit white "half-mirror" screen. Voice actors Chika Sakamoto (Agumon), Junko Takeuchi (Gomamon), Katori Shigematsu (Piyomon), Kinoko Yamada (Palmon), Mayumi Yamaguchi (Gabumon), Miwa Matsumoto (Patamon), Yuka Tokumitsu (Tailmon), and Takahiro Sakurai (Tentomon) all lend their voices for sound clips such as "I've been waiting all along in this world just to meet you!" and "Taichi, I'm hungry!"
The device will also play the series' theme songs "Butter fly" (for 90 seconds) and "brave heart" (30 seconds) as well as background themes like the track when the Digimon evolve. The device displays different colored lights depending on which Digimon is evolving.
Reservations opened today and will stay open until September 24 and it retails for 7,020 yen (about US$57). The Digimon Adventure tri. Complete Selection Animation Digivice will ship in December. Bandai plans to have a second release due to the demand of the product.
