Kakashi's Face May be Revealed in Naruto Exhibition Guestbook
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
The Naruto art exhibition opening on April 25 in Tokyo may reveal one more remaining secret in the series: Kakashi's face. The Copy Ninja Kakashi is almost always depicted wearing a mask that covers up to his nose. Even when he does remove it, manga creator Masashi Kishimoto obscures his face, so fans have never seen Kakashi's full face.
That may change during the exhibition. The Official Guestbook Shinden Fū no Sho includes new manga pages. In one revealed page (seen right), Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke are discussing how to best uncover Kakashi's face.
The exhibition will also sell a Michi guidebook for 1,300 yen (about US$11) that will include a long dialogue between Kishimoto and One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda.
The exhibition will run from April 25 to June 28 in Tokyo and from July 18 to September 27 in Osaka. The exhibition will include new illustrations that Kishimoto created just for the exhibition, and a display corner with models, clips, and other photos to give more background about the series.
