Cell Companies Team Up With Kuroko's Basketball, KanColle to Offer Wi-Fi at Comiket 87

Customers of SoftBank and NTT Docomo visiting Comiket 87 will hopefully have plenty of bandwidth to Tweet all of their cosplay photos. Both companies are teaming up with anime properties to provide cell signal-boosting mobile base station vehicles, as well as other services.
SoftBank's collaboration with Kuroko's Basketball includes not only a mobile base station vehicle with a special character wrap, but also a roving band of employees wandering around the event with portable Wi-Fi hotspots. Customers signed up for SoftBank's Wi-Fi spot service will also notice that the network name will be changed to SB_IGNITE_PASS, in honor of Tetsuya Kuroko's famous move.
The SoftBank dog is getting Kuroko-fied as well; the series' Tetsuya #2 will be guest-starring for the weekend.
Meanwhile, NTT Docomo will be offering a similar service, with a Kan Colle-wrapped mobile base station vehicle and special Wi-Fi for its customers. Those who stop by the booth for Docomo Anime Store's streaming service will receive a special clear file.
