Online Community Rallies to Help After A University Co-op Ordered Too Much Pocky
posted on by Bamboo Dong
The University of Kitakyushu co-op found themselves in a tight bind after accidentally ordering too much Pocky. Originally intending to place an order for 320 boxes, they instead ended up with 3,200.

After the staff put up a "HELP!" poster in the store, students took to LINE and Twitter to help sell the overstocked goods, and within four days, were able to help unload 1,700 boxes, roughly 100-times more than they normally would.
This Pocky incident, and its community-driven aftermath, comes at a coincidental time, as November 11 happens to be Pocky Day.
