Mario Kart 8 Adds Two More Mercedes-Benz Cars

Nintendo's partnership with Mercedes-Benz apparently hasn't slowed down yet. In addition to the GLA-Class SUV previously announced for the game, players can also choose a W25 "Silver Arrow," a throwback to Mercedes-Benz's mid-1930s Grand Prix racing car; and a 300SL roadster, with historic roots from the 1950s. The cars will change colors depending on the character who will be driving them; all three vehicles will be available as a free DLC starting August 27.
While the trailer above gives players a sense of what their new Mercedes might look like zipping through Sherbet Land, it certainly lacks the charm of this earlier ad, featuring a burly, live-action Mario.
