Sega Arcades Hold Campaign for 3rd Madoka Magica Film Blu-Ray Release

Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Movie -Rebellion- was released in Japan on Bluray and DVD earlier this month on April 2. To help celebrate this great moment for Madoka fans everywhere, SEGA has decided to team up with the magical girls to bring one of its most elaborate events ever to arcades throughout Japan.
From April 24 to June 1, UFO Catcher and Medal Games at SEGA and AG Square arcades will be filled with Madoka Magica inspired items for the winning. The goods will consist of various edible treats, including cookies (one of which is shaped like Homura's Dark Orb), Magica Fruit Drops, and cup ramen.

Every time you spend 500 Yen On one of these machines, you will receive one point and be eligible to get one of 18 different limited edition clear files. Groups A and B of the clear files will be available from the beginning of the campaign until May 13, while Group C will only be available starting May 14 until the end of the event.

Once you have accumulated 10 points, you may exchange them for limited edition Madoka Magica character figures. The figures have yet to be unveiled, but can be seen online when the official campaign website goes up.
In order to take part in the campaign's point system, you must register for the event on the official campaign page, which will be ready for the public starting April 24.
In addition to the prize system in the arcades themselves, SEGA is also teaming up with LAWSON convenience stores and entertainment retailer HMV. If you take a receipt that is proof of a purchase of 700 yen or more to any participating SEGA or AG Square arcade, you may receive one of two original character drink coasters.
