Own A Replica of Golgo 13's Smith & Wesson M-10

posted on by Eric Stimson
Also: a figurine and Cubic Theater skeleton

Golgo 13, the classic manga series about an impeccably accurate assassin, debuted in 1968 in Big Comic. As part of the ongoing commemoration of its 45th anniversary, Hartford Co. is releasing a replica of Golgo's Smith & Wesson M-10 revolver. It is engraved with the series logo (a skeleton wearing a crown of thorns) and the name of its (fictional) manufacturer, Dave Armament Company. The gun comes with a custom-made wooden case and cartridges. It measures 184 mm (seven inches).

Fans can also opt for a set of a Golgo 13 figurine and glass art of the series logo. The figurine is 18 cm (seven inches) high and shows Golgo shouldering his trusty M-16 A2 custom sniper rifle and making his trademark grimace. The glass art is part of the Cubic Theater series, which uses a two-dimensional illustration carved into a slab of glass with lasers to create a three-dimensional illusion. When mounted on a rotating, lit pedestal, the figure also reflects the light, as can be seen in the video below. (Note that the pedestal is not included!)

The gun costs 49,800 yen (or $490), while the figure and Cubic Theater set costs 9,800 yen (or $96). Tax is not included. If you're interested in buying these, check out 7net Shopping, Shinseidō, or Tsutaya. Previous Golgo 13 45th anniversary celebrations have included a Big Comic commemorative issue with a plethora of manga artists' takes on the main character and a collaboration with the Japanese armed forces.
