Phantom Breaker: Extra Promo Previews New Features

Japanese game developer 5pb. began streaming a promotional video for its Phantom Breaker: Extra video game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Monday.
The Phantom Breaker Extra game is an updated version of the original 2011 Phantom Breaker video game. When the female protagonists from 5pb.'s Chaos;HEAd and Steins;Gate video games are added to the roster of characters designed by illustrator Hiro Suzuhira (Shuffle!, Akikan!, Yosuga no Sora), the game has a total of 18 playable characters. Gameplay will also be renewed, as well as background effects. New characters and stages will be added.
5pb. will release the game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 systems on September 19. The normal edition of the game will retail for 7,140 yen (about US$73), while a limited edition copy with a soundtrack and a guidebook containing scenarios and character profiles will cost 9,240 yen (US$95).
