posted on by Karen Ressler
The official CAPCOM Unity YouTube channel began streaming two gameplay trailers on Wednesday for the Nintendo 3DS game Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies - (Gyakuten Saiban 5), which is slated for release this fall in North America and Europe. The first trailer features investigation gameplay with Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes, while the second one features the introduction of new prosecutor Simon Blackquill.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies - is set one year after the fourth main game, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. In the game, Phoenix and Athena will battle in court against the younger brother of Winston Payne, Gaspen Payne.
The game will ship on July 25 in Japan with a limited-edition version that includes a Phoenix Wright figure. CAPCOM will also be offering free DLC costumes from July 25 through August 15, which include Phoenix's suit from the first three games, Apollo's street clothes, and Athena's high school uniform.
Brian Keltner, Public Relations Manager at CAPCOM, had previously confirmed in September that his company planned to release the game in the West, but the game will be available only as a digital title.
