Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Videos Highlights New Class, Jobs

The official channel for Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn massive multi-player online role-playing game highlighted the game's new class and jobs in a streaming video on Thursday. Players can now choose the Arcanist class and two related jobs: Scholar and Summoner.
Square Enix is also streaming a developer's commentary on "Full Active Time Events (FATE)" with the game's director Naoki Yoshida and Community Team member Toshio Murouchi. FATE are real-time difficult events, like world bosses, that appear on players' maps.
Square Enix released Final Fantasy XIV Online for personal computers in September 2010. After criticism from fans, the company revealed an updated version of the game titled Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn that adds a new world and story. The updated version is also slated for Windows 8 this summer. The game will be released for PlayStation 3 on August 27 and for PlayStation 4 in 2014.
