Class of Heroes 2 Launch Trailer Streamed
posted on by Karen Ressler
The official PlayStation YouTube channel began streaming a launch trailer on Tuesday for the PlayStation Portable game Class of Heroes 2. The game is now available exclusively for download on PlayStation Network for US$24.99.
GaijinWorks is releasing the game without the opening song and animation due to licensing issues. In March 2012 GaijinWorks and MonkeyPaw Games opened a Kickstarter campaign to release the game in a physical deluxe edition, but the Kickstarter failed, falling more than US$400,000 short of its goal. Following this, GaijinWorks created a presale campaign in February in which it would ship physical copies if enough fans preordered, and met its goal of 2,500 presales in May.
Class of Heroes 2 is the sequel to Class of Heroes, a dungeon-crawling game for the PSP that Atlus USA released in North America in 2009. The Japanese release of Class of Heroes 2 bundled an original anime DVD. Two more games follow in the franchise, Class of Heroes 3 and Class of Heroes Final.
