Muramasa Rebirth's English Trailer Streamed
posted on by Karen Ressler
Sony began streaming a new trailer on its official PlayStation YouTube channel on Thursday for the North American release of the PlayStation Vita game Muramasa Rebirth. The trailer features gameplay footage, and announces that Aksys Games will release the game in North America on June 25.
The game redesigns the Muramasa: The Demon Blade Wii game for PS Vita system. The port also includes hi-resolution graphics and enhanced controls. Vanillaware (Odin Sphere, GrimGrimoire) developed the game, which Marvelous AQL originally released on the Nintendo Wii in Japan in April 2009 and Ignition Entertainment released in North America in September 2009.
In the game, the player fights as Momohime or Kisuke in ancient Japan as they search for the demon blades and fight ninja, monsters, evil spirits, and samurai.
Marvelous AQL released the PS Vita port in Japan in March. Aksys will release the game in North America with "a complete relocalization in English," and will also make available additional characters and additional scenarios as downloadable content.
