Blood: The Last Vampire's Terada Illustrates Loincloth

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Traditional male undergarment features woman's profile in pink or white

Japanese clothing maker Wacoal announced last week that Blood: The Last Vampire character designer and The Monkey King manga creator Katsuya Terada has designed a limited-edition etchu fundoshi (string loincloth).

The traditional male undergarment comes in pink or white from Wacoal's underwear subsidiary Une Nana Cool. It features Terada's drawing of a woman's profile and birds.

Each fundoshi retails for 1,890 yen (about US$19) at Une Nana Cool's 18 "LuncH" stores, ZOZOTOWN, Wacoal's online store, and at the Kyoto International Manga Museum. (The museum has been hosting an exhibit for Terada from March 16 to June 30.)
