New Beyblade 3DS Game Gets Worldwide Release This Fall
posted on by Karen Ressler
Video game publisher Rising Star Games announced on Thursday that it is working with Nelvana and d-rights Inc. to publish a new Beyblade game for Nintendo 3DS worldwide titled Beyblade: Evolution. The company will also partner with Hasbro to sell a special edition of the game that includes the Beyblade Wing Pegasus 90WF toy, which has been previously unavailable outside of Japan.
The new game will take advantage of the 3DS's gyro and motion sensors as well as its augmented reality camera to allow players to control their Beyblades. Players can battle in multiplayer mode or in story mode, and customize their Beyblades in the Bey Factory. The game itself is an adaptation of the franchise's Metal Saga, which premiered in North America in 2010 with Beyblade: Metal Fusion.
Players will also be able to unlock a sneak peak of Beyblade: Shogun Steel (pictured above right), Nelvana's North American release of Metal Fight Beyblade Zero-G, which will premiere this fall.
D3Publisher will be publishing the game in American markets. Rising Star Games notes it plans to release Beyblade: Evolution this fall.
