HMV Closes Republic of Ireland Stores

HMV stores in UK including Northern Ireland still open.
According to BBC News, the British music and video retailer HMV has closed its sixteen stores in the Republic of Ireland. It has also put its company's business in the country into receivership. The accountancy group Deloitte said it would try to secure a purchaser for the Irish shops.
HMV's stores in the UK, including those in Northern Ireland, are still open. The chain filed for bankruptcy protection on Tuesday.
