A Certain Magical Index & Scientific Railgun Crossover Game's 1st Promo Streamed
posted on by Sarah Nelkin
The official page for the Toaru Majutsu to Kagaku no Ensemble (A Certain Magical and Scientific Ensemble) crossover video game began streaming its first promotional video on Monday.
The game trailer introduces the game as a "story that takes place a few days before the miracle began." The scenarios for the game are original ones made by the author of the original novels, Kazuma Kamachi. Although the games begin at their respective routes of the Science Side and the Magic Side, the two routes intertwine at a certain point. The game is slated to be released on February 21, 2013. The normal version will cost 6,280 yen (about US$80). A limited-edition version will run for 9,980 yen (about US$127), and will include 4 Chibi-Kyun mini-figures: two of the returning heroines Misaka and Index, and the other two of the upcoming game's original characters, Ulepadi Exica (voiced by Yoshiko Sakuraba) and Hibiki Kumamoto (voiced by Iori Nomizu).
The crossover game was first revealed in the 521st issue of ASCII Media Works' Dengeki PlayStation magazine this past June. The release date and limited edition were then announced in August.
