The record company Toy's Factory began streaming the full music video for the song "Weekender Girl," a tie-in song for Sega's Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- F game.
Well-known producers kz (livetune) and Hachiōji-P created the original "Weekender Girl" song, and another Vocaloid producer, Wakamura-P, collaborated on the music video with Sega's Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- F staff. TNSK created Hatsune Miku's "Pansy" costume.
Sega already produced a live-action music video and commercial with "Weekender Girl" for Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- F. That version starred Saki Fujita — the voice actress behind the original samples that Crypton Future Media used to create Hatsune Miku — and 150 dancers.
Sega will release the game on the PlayStation Vita handheld console on August 30. The physical game copy will retail for 7,329 yen (about US$93) and the downloadable version will retail for 6,600 yen (about US$84). "Weekender Girl" is one of the songs in the game, and the single will go on sale on August 29. The limited first pressing of the CD single will include a DVD with this music video and another for the single's second song "fake doll," as well as a Hatsune Miku keychain.
