New Nana Mizuki Single Hits #2 on Weekly Charts

Voice actress and singer Nana Mizuki's latest single, "Bright Stream," has reached second place on the Oricon weekly sales charts for CD singles for the period between July 30 and June 5, selling an estimated 75,379 copies. The single was released on August 1, and is her 28th single overall. Following Mizuki's previous single, "Time Space EP," "Bright Stream" is her eighteenth top-10 single overall and her seventeenth in a row.

She was previously tied for the record of most top-10 singles by a voice actor or actress with Megumi Hayashibara at sixteen. The ranking also marks her fifteenth single in a row that charted in the top 5, and her eleventh to chart in the top 3.

All three songs on the "Bright Stream" single are be anime-related, as it includes "Bright Stream," the theme song for Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 2nd A's, "Sacred Force," an insert song for the same film, and "Fearless Hero," the opening theme for Dog Days'. The "Bright Stream" single cost 1200 yen (about US$15).
