Lucky Star's Minoru Shiraishi Is Going to Be a Father

Voice actor's first child with unnamed wife due in September
The Lucky Star voice actor Minoru Shiraishi announced on his official blog on Sunday that he will become a father this September. Shiraishi said that he will reveal the sex and name of the baby at a later date.
This will be the first child for Shiraishi and his wife. The couple married on August 9, 2011, and Shiraishi has kept his wife's identity confidential.
Shiraishi played "Minoru Shiraishi," a version of himself, in Lucky Star. He also voiced The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya's Taniguchi, Noramimi's Handa, Fafner's Kenji Kondou, Ga-Rei: Zero's Kazuki Sakuraba and Kensuke Nimura, and Abnormal Physiology Seminar's Yesterday Taguchi.
