Atlus to Release Code of Princess RPG in N. America
posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
The North American game publisher Atlus U.S.A. announced on Monday that it will release Agatsuma Entertainment's Code of Princess role-playing game for the Nintendo 3DS in North America this fall.
Those who pre-order the game will receive a "Code of Princess Sounds & Visual Book," which will feature artwork from designer Kinu Nishimura (Street Fighter III, CAPCOM vs. SNK) and music from ACE's soundtrack.
The game was inspired by a figurine line of the same name. Code of Princess combines elements of role-playing games with classic side-scrolling brawler games. The game will allow up to four players to play cooperatively or against one another. In the game, players attempt to restore balance to the world by controlling a variety of characters. Tadashi Shida (Suzuka, Kiddy Grade) storyboarded, directed, and animated the game's opening sequence. Agatsuma Entertainment is currently streaming the opening sequence on its website.
Code of Princess originally shipped in Japan on April 19.
