Yūichi Nakamura Joins Love, Election, & Chocolate Cast

The official website for the upcoming Love, Election, & Chocolate (Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate) anime series announced the cast, led by Yūichi Nakamura (Clannad's Tomoya) as protagonist Yūki Ōjima. The website also confirmed Eriko Nakamura (Hetalia's Belgium) as Chisato Sumiyoshi, Kaori Mizuhashi (Madoka Magica's Mami) as Mifuyu Kiba, Asami Imai (Steins;Gate's Kurisu) as Michiru Morishita, Mai Kadowaki (Ikki Tousen's Koumei) as Isara Aomi, and Yuu Asakawa (Brave10's Anastasia) as Satsuki Shinonome.
The original 2010 Windows adult game from sprite/fairys follows the protagonist at a "mega academy" with over 6,000 students. To save his cooking club from being abolished, the protagonist agrees to run for student body president.
Tōru Kitahata (Haganai/Oreimo episode director) is directing the anime at AIC Build with scripts overseen by Katsuhiko Takayama (Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts, ef: a tale of melodies). Hiroaki Gohda (Amagami SS, Please Teacher!) is adapting Yū Akinashi's original game designs for animation, and Elements Garden(Bodacious Space Pirates, Senki Zesshō Symphogear) is composing the music.
The anime will premiere this July.
