K-ON Film's London Taxi Recreated as Plastic Model

Aoshima to release anime's 1/24-scale model in late June
The plastic model maker Aoshima will release a 1/24-scale model of the London taxi seen in the K-ON! anime film at the end of June. Aoshima will sell the plastic models for the retail price of 3,800 yen (about US$46) before tax.
The K-ON! film opened in Japan on December 3 as a sequel to the K-ON!! television anime series based on kakifly's original manga. The film earned 1.7 billion yen (about US$20.8 million) in ticket sales as of February 1 and had been seen more than 128,000 times as of March 2.
