Toriko Gourmet Tour Event Revealed

Toei Animation will host a "Toriko Gourmet Tour" from April 28 through May 6 at Ikebukuro's Sunshine City Culture Center in Tokyo.
The event's goal is to give visitors the experience of being in the world of Toriko. Visitors will get to take on several missions just like the "Bishokuya" (gourmet food providers) in the story. The tour will also have Toriko stage events, a commemorative photo area, and a mini-game corner. The event will also host a Toriko exhibition and will also sell goods and merchandise.
Tickets for the exhibition for middle school students and older is 900 yen (US$11.20) in advance and 1,000 yen (US$12.40) for a same-day ticket. For children aged 3 through elementary school, tickets cost 700 yen (US$8.70) in advance and 800 yen (US$10) for a same-day ticket.
Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro's Toriko manga has been running in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2008. Viz Media is publishing the manga both in print and digital form, and the manga is running in Viz Media's digital Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha magazine. The anime adaptation of the manga series has been airing since April 2011, and Funimation is streaming the series as it airs.
