Hello Kitty to Issho! Block Crash V adds two new bishōjo characters

The makers of the Hello Kitty to Issho! Block Crash V PS Vita puzzle game are holding an open casting call from Friday until December 9. Two candidates will be selected to voice the new "Kittyler" characters Charlotte, a confident princess, and Kanon, a gentle girl.

Applicants must be at least 20 years old, but the casting call is open to men as well as women. The game's creators will make the first selection based on candidates' resumés and voice samples. Applicants who pass through to the second phase will submit recordings of the characters' lines.

Japanese game development company Dorasu is collaborating with Sanrio's popular Hello Kitty to Issho! (With Hello Kitty!) project to release the Hello Kitty to Issho! Block Crash V. Dorasu released Hello Kitty to Issho! Block Crash 123!!, the first Hello Kitty to Issho! puzzle game, in July 2010 on the PSP. The new PS Vita game's release date has not been set.

Di Gi Charat illustrator Koge Donbo created one of the more recent "Kittyler" characters named Moe Kirishima. Other artists who drew characters for the project include Okama, Kouhaku Kuroboshi, POP, Akihiko Koizumi, Shimeko, Keito Koume, Chinatsu Kurahana, Eiji Komatsu, KEI, Poyoyon Rock, Milk Morinaga, Aoi Nishimata, Nisieda, Carnelian, and redjuice. The new characters' artists have not been announced.
