Gensō Suikoden's New PSP Game Announced via Video

Latest in Konami's RPG franchise announced at Tokyo Game Show

The game publisher Konami Digital Entertainment announced at Tokyo Game Show on Saturday that it is producing Gensō Suikoden: Tsumugareshi Hyaku-nen no Toki, the latest in the Gensō Suikoden role-playing game franchise, for the PSP portable platform. Konami made the announcement at its booth during the Frontier Gate Special Stage event, but did not specify the game's release date, price, or genre. It did open a preview site and a Twitter account.

The game franchise inspired manga spinoffs, and Tokyopop published the one based on Gensō Suikoden III.
