Daily Video: Yuruyuri Song Performed in Character

The official Twitter account for the Yuruyuri anime announced that the music video for the anime's opening theme song "Yuriyurarararayuruyuri Daijiken" began streaming on the Nico Nico Douga website on Sunday. Shiori Mikami, Yuka Ōtsubo, Minami Tsuda, and Rumi Ookubo — the four main voice actresses of the anime — appear in the music video in character, complete with the school uniforms from Namori's original manga. In the story, four fun-loving schoolgirls take over the former room of a tea ceremony club for their own "Gorakubu" (amusement club). The anime will premiere in Japan on July 4, and the single for the theme song will go on sale on July 20.

Earlier this month, the main voice actresses for another July anime about schoolgirls, Ro-Kyu-Bu!, recorded a live-action teaser video and a live-action dance music video for that anime's opening theme song "Shoot!":
