posted on by Gia Manry
The television production company Saban Entertainment posted the above video to its YouTube account last week. The video features actor Paul Schrier, who will return to the Power Rangers franchise as the comic relief character Farkus "Bulk" Bulkmeier. Schrier first played the character in the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers television series in 1993. Bulk also appeared in 1996's Power Rangers Zeo, 1997's Power Rangers Turbo, 1998's Power Rangers in Space, 1999's Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, and 2002's Power Rangers Wild Force. Schrier himself also acted in 2000's Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue as the voice of Infinitor and in 2001's Power Rangers Time Force as the voice of Severax.
Schrier has also done voice work in anime series, such as Tekkaman Blade as the character Saber and Bakuto Sengen Daigunder as Bone Rex.
Power Rangers Samurai is the latest in a long-running series of loose adaptations of the Super Sentai Series, the Japanese live-action special-effects franchise created by Shōtarō Ishinomori (Kamen Rider, The Skull Man). The new series premiered in North America on the Nickelodeon channel on February 7.
