'Anime Babes' Burlesque Show Staged in Los Angeles

On Monday, the LA Weekly website posted a report and an image gallery (link contains adult materials) from "Anime Babes," an adult performance with anime-inspired costumes at the Bordello adult club in Los Angeles. The characters portrayed at the January 8 event include:

• Neon Genesis Evangelion - Rei Ayanami
• Pokémon - Pikachu
• Tokyo Mew Mew - Ichigo Momomiya
• Fullmetal Alchemist - Lust
• Sailor Moon - Sailor Moon
• Speed Racer - Trixie

The performers, collectively known as Devil's Playground, have previously performed Star Wars, comic book, and videogame themed burlesque events in the past.
