Gundam 00 Makes Cameo in Loveless Manga Chapter

Character designer Yun Kouga is celebrating the September 18 opening of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer by putting the movie's characters in her own Loveless manga. The cameo appears in the November issue of Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Zero-Sum magazine, which shipped on Tuesday.
In the current chapter of Loveless, the protagonist Ritsuka and the other characters go out to see the Gundam 00 film and discuss which of the Gundam 00 characters they like.
In addition to designing the characters in the Gundam 00 anime franchise, Kouga also published a manga volume called Mobile Suit Gundam 00 in those days (pictured at right). Tokyopop published eight of the nine current volumes of Loveless in North America, and Media Blasters released the television anime version. Bandai Entertainment released the two Gundam 00 television series and Kōzō Ōmori's Gundam 00 manga adaptation, while Sunrise is holding the North American premiere of the film at New York Anime Festival on October 10.
The current Monthly Comic Zero-Sum issue also has the first Haikyō Circle chapter by creator Azusa Yūki and artist Yūna Watanabe, and the last di[e]ce chapter by creator Otoh Saki (of Switch's naked ape) and artist Kana Yamamoto.
