Introduction

Story

When Saito Hiraga is summoned to another world, Halkeginia, to be a mage's familiar, he finds himself caught up in a hybrid fantasy-romance of love and adventure where the relationship between Master and Familiar becomes ambivalent.

The Master who summoned Saito to this new world is Louise, a girl who's cute, but has zero talent for magic. While Saito is bewildered by the sudden appearance of this mysterious, arrogant girl, she proclaims a contract between them and suddenly places her lips to his! As soon as she does, mysterious runes appear on the back of his hand, and Saito winds up being her familiar! At the boarding school, Tristain Academy of Magic, his new Master, the mage Louise, abuses, scolds and loves(?) him as his exciting life full of love, courage, and humiliation begins. What twists of fate await Zero Louise and Saito in this new world full of ups, downs, and an entirely different culture?!

Characters

	Louise Francoise le blanc de la Valliere VA: Rie Kugimiya Louise is the third daughter from the noble la Valliere family whose duchy lies in the north-eastern Tristain. Although she is the daughter of a famous noble family, she's called "Zero Louise" because she cannot use magic. However, her pride as an aristocrat is stronger than that of others, as is her haughtiness.
	Saito Hiraga VA: Satoshi Hino Suddenly by visited Louise and made into her familiar. He used to live an ordinary high-school life with no rewards or punishments, and no girlfriend. His hearty curiosity is both his strong point and his weak point.
	Kirche Augusta Frederica von Anhalt Zerbst VA: Nanako Inoue One of Louise's classmates. Kirche was born in Germania, and her specialty lies in fire magic. Her other name is "Kirche the ardent". Since the land her family owns borders the Valliere duchy, the two families have always been at odds with each other.
	Tabatha VA: Yuka Inokuchi A silent girl who's classmates with Louise. For some reason she seems to be close to Kirche. She's often found reading books. Her name "Tabatha" seems to be a false name, but no one knows for sure. She comes from the kingdom of Gallia, and her specialty is wind magic. Her other name is "Tabitha the Snowstorm".
	Siesta VA: Yui Horie Siesta is a simple girl and a plebian. She works as a maid at Tristain Academy of Magic.
	Henrietta VA: Ayako Kawasumi Henrietta is the beautiful princess of Tristain, beloved by her people, but lately she seems to be carrying many troubles. When they were little she and Louise Francoise often played together, and she trusts Louise as an irreplaceable friend.
	Guiche de Gramont VA: Takahiro Sakurai One of Louise's classmates. He's a conceited playboy who hasn't decided on a woman. He always carries an artificial rose as his wand, and his specialty is earth magic. His other name is "Guiche the Bronze". He also dotes on his familiar, a giant mole.
	Montmorency Margarita la Fere de Montmorency VA: Mikako Takahashi One of Louise's classmates. As a mage her specialty is water magic, and her other name is "Montmorency the Perfume". She a proud aristocrat of Tristain.
	Irukuku VA: Yuka Iguchi A mysterious girl who calls Tabatha "sister". She's tall, has great proportions, and looks like she could be Tabitha's mother or older sister. Though she has some discretion, she acts very childlike. For some reason she seems extremely interested in Saito.
	Tiffania VA: Mamiko Noto A half-elf who secretly lived in Westwood Village in the region of Saxe-Gotha. Because of this, she knows little about the world, and proves very naive. She has incredibly fair skin, wavy blonde hair, and pointed ears. Despite her slender proportions, her breasts are very big.
