Love is More Than Convenient in Limited 7-Eleven Manga

7-Eleven is more than a Slurpee destination in Japan. The convenience store, along with LAWSON and FamilyMart can be the life-blood of busy workers and students and it doesn't hurt that the food is actually good. If that weren't enough of a reason to stop in, each chain often has anime-related lottery campaigns and goods and 7-Eleven is no exception. The company created mascot boys for its make-up line, introduced fan-selected Fate/stay night merch, and even elected its own Love Live! Sunshine!! image girl.
All that's left for the major store chain is to introduce its own manga, maybe something with a little more enthusiasm than Convenience Store Boy Friends.
The company has hired on manga creator Mao Momiji to do just that. 7-Eleven is editing a new, limited four-panel manga titled Hōkago 7-Eleven (After School 7-Eleven) on Saizensen's Twi4 website. The site his home to unique original works and franchise short-form comics, like a Fate/stay night manga centered on mahjong and Onna no Yūjō to Kinniku (Women's Friendship and Muscles) about a group of three muscular, athletic women and their struggles with love and their body proportions.
Hōkago 7-Eleven will update daily for the next month, but may continue longer if it's popular. The story follows Nana, a high school girl who loves to eat, who fell in love at first sight with a guy who works at the local 7-Eleven, Jūichi. Will Nana find true love? If their names are any indication, the characters are meant to be together.
