September concert is voice actress' 1st since changing agencies

The official website of voice actress Yukari Tamura announced on Saturday that Tamura will resume her singing activities with live performances. She will hold an event for her fan club Mellow Pretty at Tokyo International Forum on June 25. Tamura will hold a two-day live concert at Yokohama Arena on September 26 and September 27.

The concert is Tamura's first since changing agencies. The voice actress joined MAGES.' talent division amuleto in August after her exclusive contract with King Records ended on March 20, 2016.

She will release a mini album in early fall, and it will debut on the anime song distribution app ANiUTa in June. The release will be Tamura's first since her "Suki Datte Ienakute" single shipped in April 2015.

Tamura held a contract with King Records for nine years. She had canceled a concert and radio shows earlier in February 2016. Tamura then announced on February 13, 2016 that she intended to continue singing despite her contract with King Records ending.

Tamura will play Finis in MAGES.' upcoming original television anime project Lost Song. Konomi Suzuki will also star in the anime as Rin.

Tamura is perhaps best known as the voice of protagonist Nanoha Takamachi in the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha anime franchise. She has also voiced characters from such anime as Galaxy Angel (Ranpha), Kanon (Mai Kawasumi), Clannad (Mei Sunohara), Tantei Opera Milky Holmes (Saku Tooyama), Kill la Kill (Nui Harime), and Schwarzes Marken (Beatrix Brehmer). She has performed theme songs for many of the anime in which she has voiced a role, including Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Katanagatari, Oreimo, No-Rin, and I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying.
