Fourth feature length spin-off from the successful anime series following the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki, a young man who has inherited powers that require him to do battle with evil spirits. Ichigo (voice of Masakazu Morita) was bequeathed his abilities as a Soul Reaper by Rukia (Fumiko Orikasa), who was too badly injured in an encounter with a spirit to go on in her role. Rukia has since become his advisor and friend and, fortunately, is on hand when Ichigo's younger sister Yuzu (Ayumi Sena) is kidnapped by a malevolent group determined to escape from Hell.
