An Aria is a a musical self-contained piece for one voice usually with orchestral accompaniment. They are typically very expressive and emotional pieces that are usually used in operas, or in this case the opening song.
In episode 08, when President Aria runs away, he comes across a girl with a frog puppet. That frog is from Keroro Gunso's (Sergeant Frog) main character, Keroro.
