Trivia:

The opening scene of episode 6, where "Honey Cherry" Bunny Montana and "Muscat" Klatt stage a holdup of the restaurant (well, an attempted one of Van) is a parody of the opening scene of the movie _Pulp Fiction_, with Honey Bunny and Pumpkin.

during episode 3 "Heros one more time" the combination animation for Eldorado five is similar to (in some aspects) the animation sequence for Dancougar, while the final form of the mech with the fifth unit has similar design elements of Genesic Gaogaigar

The design of the Original Seven armors with it's combination of red bumpers tubes in the limbs and back and metal braces and plates around the body resemble to medical orthoses, which make them kind of unique among mecha designs.

The character of Wendy Garret bear some resemblance to the mascot of her homonym's restaurant chain.

The ending theme of episode 17 is a cover of the song originally made famous by Pink Lady in 1976.

In episode 6, Tony Montana is named after the protagnist in the 1983 movie _Scarface_.

It might be coincidental, but Michael Gallet's Original 7 mecha, Saudade of Sunday, looks suspiciously similar to the ZGMF-X10A Freedom from Gundam SEED(Destiny). The battle sequence where it first appears in Episode 18 is also reminiscient of the Freedom. This could be a nod to Michael's voice actor, Souichirou Hoshi, who voiced the pilots of both the aforementioned mecha.
