Jinki:Extend (TV)

Trivia:
The opening sequence to Jinki: Extend is a direct homage to the original Mobile Suit Gundam's opening sequence.
The credit sequence of Jinki:Extend also bares a strong resemblance to the credit sequence of Mazinger Z (known as Tranzor Z in the US), in which each section of the Mazinger was focused on in succession while it stands in a static pose with its arms at its side (much the way the Moribito is, in Jinki's credit sequence). The difference is, in Mazinger Z, there's a cut away on half of Mazinger's parts so you can see the internal workings, where as the Moribito is silhouetted in Jinki.
ADV Films paid $91,000 to license the series in 2006.
