One of Oji's favorite musicians mentioned in the series is Michael Schenker, German guitar virtuoso and former Scorpions member.
Layla is named after the 1971 Eric Clapton song, which was written about model Pattie Boyd - who was then married to Beatles guitarist George Harrison (1943-2001). Ironically, Clapton married Boyd in 1979; the marriage lasted nine years.
