Koichi Yamadera & Minami Takayama were the only voice actors to reprise their roles as Yuta & Mana for this TV anime adaptation of Takahashi’s “Mermaid Saga”. They were also the only voice actors to originate from both the “Mermaid Forest” (1991) OAV & “Mermaid Scar” (1993) OAV.
In episode 7, upon its airing on TV it was the most watched episode of the entire series with a total of 3.2% audience share.
In episode 9, upon its original airing on TV it was the least watched episode of the entire series with a total of 1.4% audience share.
