39. Crushing Revenge
1. In Preview – In the scene where Kurama stabs Touya with his Death Plant, the part of the Death Plant that is sticking out of Touya's back has been removed.
2. In Preview – When Touya backs off of Kurama's Death Plant, the bloodstain is removed from his back.
3. Scene of Kayko and Shizuru changed to one where Shizuru isn't smoking.
4. Scene where Bakken punches Kurama in the stomach – CUT.
5. Risho's “This win would help us greatly.” to Jin (who's in the extreme background) and Jin's reaction of indifference – CUT.
6. As Kurama is lying on the ground, the blood streaming down his face is removed
7. Scene where Bakken is holding up Kurama for one last punch, the blood on Kurama's face is removed.
8. As Yusuke holds up Kurama, the blood on Kurama's face has been removed. (I guess that we can assume that for the rest of this episode, this will be the case, so I won't repeat it again.)
9. In the scene where Ruka, The Masked Fighter, and Hiei are talking, extra spaghetti cords are add to cover up what little bit of butt that was showing.
10. Butajiri's "Who gives a damn? Bakken's special technique will take care of that." changed to "Who gives a flip? Bakken's special technique will take care of that." In response to Sakyo stating that Bakken's power is abysmal in comparison to Yusuke's
11. Yusuke's “What's wrong Bakken? We haven't even started yet, and you've already got a nervous sweat. Do you give up?” changed to “Look at your self. You're already sweating like a pig and we haven't even started fighting yet. I think that's pretty sad.”
12. Scene of Shizuru and Kayko together replaced with a close-up of them separated in sequence. (To cover the fact that Shizuru is smoking—again)
13. Blood removed when Bakken punches Yusuke for the second time.
14. Bakken's “Damn that boy!” changed to “Curse that boy!” after Yusuke disperses Bakken's Mist.
15. Yusuke's “You can either turn around and have me beat the crap out of you, or you can get on your hands and knees and start begging.” changed to “You can either turn around and have me beat the snot out of you, or you can get on your hands and knees and start begging.”
16. Bakken's “You dirty little son of a bi—!!” changed to “You insolent little bra—!!”
17. The Scene where Yusuke pulls back his fist with the sound Bakken's ribs cracking – CUT.
18. Cose-up of Bakken as he coughs up... something (it's yellow, I have no clue what it could be) – CUT.
19. Yusuke's “Damn, I missed a few. You know those lower ribs are harder to reach.” changed to “I missed a few. You know those lower ribs are harder to reach” after Koto comments on cracking ribs.
20. As Bakken is begging, the blood was removed from his face. (We can't have a bloody lip in a fight, can we?)
21. The scene where Bakken hits Yusuke in the head with a rock is shortened to make it look like the rock shattered right away (it actually takes a while for it to crack then shatter).
22. X-ray views of Yusuke breaking Bakken's ribs and pelvis – CUT.
23. In the close-up of the unconscious Bakken, blood that was dripping from his nose is removed.
24. Slow pan up Ruka's body replaced with a scene of Ruka from the back (extra spaghetti cords are add to cover up what little bit of butt that was showing) then switching to a close-up (extra spaghetti cords are covering up her cleavage)
25. Scene of Ruka turning toward the ring – CUT.
26. Jin's “Damn it I can't believe the ruckus they're washing up.” changed to “I can't believe the ruckus they're washing up.” Talking about the crowd.
27. Yusuke's “You're a crazy bastard, you know that?” changed to “Stop making me laugh, Jin.”
28. Yusuke's “If I lose, my whole team's screwed and if I win I have to fight again... ” changed to “If I lose my whole team's scraped and if I win I have to fight again... ” in response to Jin saying “let's have some fun”
29. Yusuke's “Damn he's fast!” changed to “That's movin'” about Jin's speed in the air.
Not much to comment on in this episode. The number and type of edits were all about normal given the Toonami standards.
40. Jin, The Wind Master
1. As Yusuke is getting up from Jin's attack, the blood from his lip is removed
2. Yusuke's thinking, “Damn it! I'm flopping around like a windmill and he barely scratched me,” changed to “I'm flopping around like a windmill and he barely scratched me,” after Jin attacks him with his Tornado Fist.
3. During the conversation between Butajiri and Sakyo, Sakyo's cigarette is removed, and scenes where he's actively smoking are replaced.
4. Yusuke's “and there's my chance going airborne, damn it!” changed to “and there's my chance going airborne, darn it,” after missing his follow-up punch because Jin took to the air, out of Yusuke's reach.
5. Kuwabara's “Hey, what is this?! How's Urameshi supposed to have a fair fight if Jin can run where ever he wants!” changed to “What a bunch of crud! How's Yusuke supposed to have a fair fight if Jin can run where ever he wants” (why?)
6. Butajiri's “Jin! Move, damn it!” changed to “Jin! Move, darn it!” yelling at Jin to avoid Yusuke's Spirit Gun.
7. Fan's “Good. I've been waiting too damn long to see that boy get put in his place!” changed to “Good. I've been waiting too darn long to see that boy get put in his place!”
8. In the scene with Shizuru and Kayko, Shizuru's cigarette is removed, and her arm is moved to a more natural position (for some one not smoking that is).
9. Boton's “So how in the flip is he supposed to hit him??” changed to “So how in the world is he supposed to hit him??” to Kuwabara. (another one?)
10. Yusuke's “Let's see who can take a bigger ass-kicking.” changed to “Let's see who can take a bigger beating.” Just before he fires his Spirit Gun into Jin's Tornado Fist.
11. After Yusuke fires his Spirit Gun into Jin's Tornado Fist. The scene showing the medical tent (with Ruka in front of it) – CUT (not surprising, it probably saved them from doing some CG editing on Ruka's outfit).
12. Yusuke's “Oh, hell.” changed to “The pain.” as he recovers.
13. Jin's “The hell was that? You don't make bombs go boom in your face!” changed to “The heck was that? You don't make bombs go boom in your face!”
14. Yusuke's “Damn- At least one of us should've died!” changed to “What- At least one of us should've died!”
15. In the scene where Yusuke and Hiei are talking, Ruka's outfit gets some extra bands to cover her cleavage.
16. Butajiri's “He can stand upside down with his thumb up his ass for all I care.” changed to “He can stand upside down with his thumb up his nose for all I care,” talking about Yusuke's chances against Jin's double Tornado Fists.
Well, I had a good feeling for this episode. The editing seemed to be turning out pretty light. They even left in the close-up of Yusuke punching Jin in the gut (They edited out a similar scene in the fight between Yusuke and Bakken). And then, boom, they edit one of Kuwabara's lines (Edit #5) when there was nothing offensive said. Then we have one of Boton's lines edited (Edit #9), but admittedly this line sounds better than the original.

Well, I had a good feeling for this episode. The editing seemed to be turning out pretty light. And then, boom, they edit one of Kuwabara's lines (Edit #5) when there was nothing offensive said. Then we have one of Boton's lines edited (Edit #9), but admittedly this line sounds better than the original.
