Young Disease Outburst Boy Anime Premieres on October 4

The official website for Chūbyō Gekihatsu Boy, the television anime of Vocaloid producer rerulili's "Young disease outburst Boy" ("Chūbyō Gekihatsu Boy") song and Minato Tonami's slice-of-life comedy novel adaptation, revealed on Friday that the anime will premiere in Japan on October 4. The anime will debut on Hikari TV at 10:00 p.m., then air on Tokyo MX at 10:30 p.m. The show will debut on TV Aichi, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11 later that night, before premiering on dTV Channel on October 7 and on AT-X on October 9.
The website also posted the second part of an online-exclusive short story for the series.
Kazuya Ichikawa (Clean Freak! Aoyama kun, Bakugan Battle Planet, Monster Strike the Animation) is directing the anime at Studio DEEN. Midori Gotou (Hozuki's Coolheadedness all three seasons, Clean Freak! Aoyama kun) is overseeing the series scripts, and Yusa Matsuura (Clean Freak! Aoyama kun chief animation director) is designing the characters for animation. Satoshi Motoyama is directing the sound at Ai Addiction, and TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND is composing the music. Lantis is producing the music.
The anime's five main male cast members are performing the opening song "Chūbyō Gekihatsu Boy" under the group name Minakami High School Heroes.
