Bandai Namco Ent. Files Trademark for 'Shining Soldiers'
posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
The Japan Patent Office reported on January 8 that Bandai Namco Entertainment filed a trademark on December 17 for "Shining Soldiers." The trademark refers to various video game commodities.
While the filing did not specify that the trademark is related to the Saint Seiya franchise, the franchise has in the past inspired games with titles such as Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers and Saint Seiya: Soldiers' Soul.
The anime adaptation of the Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō spinoff manga debuted on December 10. Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya, the CG anime remake of Masami Kurumada's Saint Seiya (Knights of the Zodiac) manga, launches globally this summer. A live-action Hollywood film has also been green-lit.
