posted on by Karen Ressler
The official Twitter account for the Kemono Friends anime revealed a visual for the second season on Wednesday. The visual shows Serval and the new character previously teased in the season's announcement trailer. A second visual will debut next week.
The staff have not yet revealed the season's director and studio. The first season's director TATSUKI previously said he would not be working on the second season, and the show's producer said that anime studio Yaoyorozu will not return.
The staff is holding auditions for a new unit in Kemono Friends.
Nexon's original Kemono Friends app game launched in early 2016 and ended service in December of that year — before the Kemono Friends anime even aired. The 12-episode television anime then premiered on TV Tokyo and TV Osaka in January 2017 and ended in March 2017. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.
