Bandai Namco Entertainment confirmed on Tuesday that the release of its One Piece: World Seeker game is delayed to 2019. The game's developers decided "a bit more time is needed to reach fan expectations for this ambitious title."
The 90th compiled book volume of Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga listed on Tuesday that the game is slated for release in 2019. The game was originally slated for release on the PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2018. The game was also slated for release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in the Americas and Europe this year.
Bandai Namco Entertainment America describes the game:

Open landscapes provide many paths for players to experience Luffy's gum-gum abilities and swing into action.
The game will take place on "Prison Island" ("Jail Island"), which is located in the New World. Weekly Shonen Jump magazine previously teased that the game will tell the "truth of a tragic event." The issue featured an image of a man in shadow standing in front of the Holy Land Mariejois on fire.
