Hitomi Takano's My Boy Manga Changes Publishers, Magazines

This year's June issue of Futabasha's Monthly Action magazine announced on Wednesday that Hitomi Takano's My Boy manga will move to Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine beginning with the magazine's 26th issue on May 28. Despite running in a weekly magazine, the manga will keep its pace of one chapter per month.
The manga launched in Monthly Action in December 2015. Futabasha published the fourth compiled volume under its Action Comics imprint in December. The manga ranked #2 on Takarajimasha's Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2017 list of top manga for male readers.
The story follows a 30-year-old female office worker and a 12-year-old boy who meet in a park and strike up a relationship that may be like a parent and child, or may be something else.
Vertical licensed the manga and released the first volume in North America on April 10.
