Back Street Girls TV Anime Slated for July Premiere

The official website for Kodansha's Young Magazine revealed on Tuesday that the television anime of Jasmine Gyuh's Back Street Girls comedy manga will premiere in July.
The manga centers on three yakuza men who are forced by their boss, who is also a producer, to become an idol group, and the difficulties they face hiding their true selves from their fans.
The manga launched in Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine in March 2015. Kodansha published the manga's 10th compiled volume on Tuesday. The manga has more than 450,000 copies in print.
